A plasma display panel and method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the light transmission of the panel by preventing the yellow discoloration of the front substrate of the plasma display panel or the glass front-filter. The electromagnetic shielding comprises the conductive pattern(20) patterned on the base glass(30), and the base glass and the ground(10) formed in the edge portion. The base glass plays the role of the frame supporting front-filter. The conductive pattern is patterned as the mesh form or stripe-like. The conductive pattern comprises the glass frit and cerium(Ce) oxide or the copper(Cu) oxide. The glass frit is the SiO2-Al2O3-ZnO series. The cerium oxide or the copper oxide has the dark gray and dark blue. The conductive pattern is formed in the front side of the plasma display panel. |
