A radiation sensitive composition for forming a colored layer, a color filter using the composition, and an LCD device containing the color filter are provided to improve the adhesion to a substrate even in case the content of a colorant is high and to foam a black matrix having no thick pattern line width even in proximity exposure. A radiation sensitive composition for forming a colored layer comprises a colorant; 100 parts by weight of an alkali-soluble resin; a monomer having at least two radical polymerizable unsaturated bonds; a radiation sensitive radical generator; and 0.1-10 parts by weight of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the formulas 1-5, a phenolic compound having a flavan skeleton, a phenolic compound having a spirobiindan skeleton, and a phenolic compound having a spirobiindene skeleton. |
