Household washing machine with heat pump

The machine has a tub (1) receiving washing clothes, and a heater (2) heating process water. A temporary storage receives heat from a process phase, and a heat pump (7) transfers part of the heat on the temporary storage in the process water, and another process phase is formed after the execution of the former process phase. The temporary storage includes a container (6) for storing part of waste water, and an evaporator (10) of the heat pump is thermally coupled with the container. A condenser (8) of the heat pump is arranged at the container. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a household washing machine.
