A liquid crystal display capable of executing various functions on a liquid crystal screen and a portable terminal using the same are provided to realize the liquid crystal display of the various types by operating the member of the LCD by using a swing function. A liquid crystal display(100) is rotated by a hinge module by displaying screen information of a mobile terminal. A first slide member(110) and a second slide member are installed within the liquid screen unit and slid against the liquid screen unit. The first slide member and the second slide member are inserted with the rotation of the hinge module in the liquid crystal display.
