TORSION PIPE MANUFACTURING APPARATUS

A torsion pipe manufacturing device is provided to improve the elasticity of a pipe by forming a helix groove on the outer side of the pipe and increasing the section modulus of the pipe. A torsion pipe manufacturing device comprises a drawbench(10), a groove forming unit(30) and an adapter(50). The drawbench grips one end of a pipe(20) and draws the pipe. The groove forming unit forms a groove at the outside of the pipe drawn out with the drawbench. The adapter is inserted inside the pipe in order to correspond to the groove forming unit. The adapter maintains the shape of the pipe. The groove forming unit comprises a base member(31), a bearing member(33) and a groove forming member(37). A space(32) is formed inside the base member. The bearing member is accepted to the space of the base member. The groove forming member is supported in the bearing member in order to be rotated. Inside the groove forming member, one or more bosses(35) are formed.
