DEIONIZATION APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

A capacitive deionization apparatus and method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve removal efficiency of ions while reducing manufacturing cost, and to prevent corrosion and damage of the apparatus. A capacitive deionization apparatus includes a pair of end plate units(10a,10b), a plurality of spacer units and a combining member(30). The end plate units form the top and the bottom of the capacitive deionization apparatus. The spacer unit includes a plurality of plates(50). The plate is prepared between the end plate units. A plurality of electrode modules(40) support edge of an electrode module. The combining member bonds the spacer unit and the end plate unit.
