An arc detecting circuit breaker of an indoor electric line is provided to detect an arc signal without the distortion by maintaining a linear characteristic in a low frequency domain and a high frequency domain. A current sensor(CT) detects a parallel arc current. The current sensor is a current transformer with high permeability. An integrating unit integrates the signal detected by the current sensor. A filter unit removes a high frequency noise from the signal integrated by the integrating unit. A rectifier full-wave rectifies the signal passing through the filter unit. An amplifier(Tr1) amplifies the signal rectified by the rectifier. A converting unit(R3) converts the current amplified by the amplifier into the voltage. A current signal is applied to a gate of an SCR(Silicon Controlled Rectifier). A trip coil is connected to the anode of the SCR. The trip coil operates the circuit breaker for blocking the circuit.
