A safety system for a steam trap is provided to lower the temperature of the ejected steam vapor by discharging the steam vapor of the high temperature through a main body storing the water. A safety system for a steam trap comprises a body(110), a net body(120), a gravel layer(130), a porous fiber(140), and a lid(150). A plurality of drain holes(111) is formed at one side of the center part while the top part is opened to store the water inside. The net body is installed at the upper part of the drain hole of the body. A through-hole(121) in which the steam trap pipe passes through is formed at the center of the net body. The gravel layer is piled on the top of the net body. The through-hole is formed at the center of the gravel layer. The porous fiber is formed on the top of the gravel layer. The lid is mounted on the top of the body.
