A repository system and a method thereof are provided to construct a database of RDF(Resource Description Framework) triples, thereby realizing the Semantic web technology. If the registration of triple data is requested through a client API(Application Program Interface) module(120), a repository service module(104) gives a triple ID for the triple data, extracts nodes forming the triple data, and then gives node IDs to each node. Correspondingly to the first reference information including the node IDs, the repository service module stores node data about the nodes in node data information. Correspondingly to the second reference information including the triple ID, the repository service module stores the node IDs of the nodes in the node ID information.
