An organic-inorganic complex resin composition is provided to ensure excellent chemical resistance, insulating property, flatness, heat resistance, light transmission, and adhesive property, and to be suitable for an insulating material for a protective film of a liquid crystal display device. An organic-inorganic complex resin composition comprises (a) poly aliphatic aromatic silsesquioxanes containing an ethylenic unsaturated group and an aromatic hydrocarbon group, (b) an acrylic copolymer, (c) a monomer compound having two or more ethylenically unsaturated coupling, and (d) a silicon-based compound having an epoxy group or an ethylenically unsaturated bond.
