A cross bar locker for a car roof carrier is provided to separate two locking pins from an opening hole of a rail by pulling both end part of the cable with two pulleys. A cross bar locker for a car roof carrier comprises a first locking module, a second locking module, and a cable. The first and the second locking module are installed at the both end part of a crossbar. The locking modules include a supporting member(430), a locking pin assembly(420), and a top and a bottom pulleys(413-1, 413-2). The both end part of the cable is fixed at a locking pin(424) of the frame tip side of each locking pin assembly while the upper side of the top pulley is being connected to the lower side of the bottom pulley. The top and the bottom pulley moves the frame of the locking pin assembly of the locking module by pulling out the both end part of the cable to the opposite direction when a lever(411) of a rotating member and a supporting piece rotate.
