An input buffer of semiconductor memory device is provided to reduce the power consumption by removing the noise and selectively running the buffer. An input buffer of semiconductor memory device comprises the first buffer part(100) and the second buffer part(200). The first buffer part compares the input voltage(Vin) with the reference voltage(Vref), and amplifies the input voltage firstly. The first buffer part amplifies the first amplified signal secondly, and supplies the output signal to the common node. The second buffer part compares the input voltage with the reference voltage, and amplifies the input voltage. The second buffer part amplifies the first amplified voltage and supplies the output signal to the common node. The first and second buffer parts are selectively activated corresponding to the output signal. |
