An optical signal quality measuring system using an optical distribution device and a method thereof are provided to display the amplitude of an optical signal measured by an optical connection terminal unit and transmit the displayed amplitude to a connection network control computer which is connected to a remote place. A plurality of optical connection terminal units split an optical signal delivered through an optical cable to a plurality of optical signals, divide each optical signal into two signals, and then measure the strength of an electric signal corresponding to one of the divided optical signals. A plurality of display units displays the amplitude of measured electric signals. An ANC(Access Network Control) computer(300) of a remote place compares the received amplitude and a preset reference value and then notifies a controller of an optical distribution device(100) of the compared result. |
