A motor increasing the operating dependability, a washing machine including the same, and a control method thereof are provided to control by separating the current of the d axis and q axial direction at a vector control method after being compensated with conversion while being connected with each other. A washing machine including a motor increasing the operating dependability comprises a stator, a rotor, a speed detector(31), a speed controller(33), a current controller(35), and an inverter(50). The stator comprises a plurality of wire-wound coils. The rotor comprises a plurality of magnets generating the electro-magnetic interaction with the coil. The speed detector senses the present speed of the rotor in a cleaning process. The speed controller compares the present speed sensed by the speed detector and the instruction speed of the rotor. The speed controller outputs the instruction current 'Id' and 'Iq' transformed to the current component on a d-q motive coordinate. The inverter authorizes the voltage in the coil based on 'Vd' and 'Vq' outputted from the current controller. |
