PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent frequency diversity effect by selecting one rule from a plurality of preset rules and also selecting the rule for enlarging a frequency interval of the combination of physical resource assignment units for assigning a virtual resource assignment unit. SOLUTION: The wireless communication apparatus executes dispersion transmission by dividing a virtual resource assignment unit for assignment to a plurality of dispersed physical resource assignment units in the frequency direction. In this case, the wireless communication apparatus is provided with a resource correspondence specifying unit 15 for selecting one rule from the rules of combination and sequence of the physical resource assignment unit for assigning the virtual resource assignment unit and determining the physical resource assignment unit for assigning the virtual resource assignment unit using this selected rule, an assignment information generating unit 16 for generating wireless resource assignment information including at least the information indicating the rule selected by the resource correspondence specifying unit 15 and the information indicating the physical resource assignment unit for assigning the virtual resource assignment unit with the starting position and the number of the virtual resource assignment unit, and a multiplexing unit for multiplexing the wireless resource assignment information to the transmitting signal.
