PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display allowing sufficient writing in each pixel. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display 100 is provided with a display part 1 including the plurality of display pixels 10, a plurality of gate lines 11 and a plurality of signal lines 12, an H driver 3 for scanning sequentially the lines corresponding to the signal lines 12, a latch circuit 6 for storing image data, based on a scanning signal from the H driver 3, and a selection circuit 7 supplied with signals comprising two values and for selecting anyone of the signals comprising the two values, based on the image data stored in the latch circuit 6, to be supplied to the signal lines 12, as the image signal.
