<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium in which magnetic information of high density can be recorded and erroneous recording of magnetic information can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium 1 is provided with a magnetic layer 30 to which magnetism is supplied on a substrate 2, the magnetic layer 30 consists of a magnetic object in which magnetic anisotropy of a vertical direction for a film plane of the magnetic layer 30 is larger relatively than a parallel direction for the film plane of the magnetic layer 30, and is provided with a plurality of magnetic recording parts 3 to which information is recorded by the applied magnetism and a first stress giving part 4 consisting of a magnetic object in which magnetic anisotropy of a parallel direction for a film plane of the magnetic layer 30 is larger relatively than a vertical direction for the film plane of the magnetic layer 30, at least, it is formed so that a plurality of magnetic recording parts 3 and the first stress giving part 4 are arranged alternately along a track in which information is recorded, magnetostriction constant of the magnetic recording part 3 and the first stress giving part 4 is positive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
