<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-CD20 antibody, and to provide a method for treating B-cell-associated diseases. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-CD20 antibody is a monoclonal antibody and the antibody binding to the CD20 is humanized or chimeric. Humanized 2H7 variants include those that have amino acid substituents in FR and maturation variants having changes in grafted CDRs.
