<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that is configured to have a number of terminals, achieves improvement in positional accuracy of each terminal with respect to each land, and ensures connection reliability between each terminal and each land without enlarging a vertical build of the connector. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal has a first horizontal part, which is partially held by a housing so as to be in parallel with the substrate surface, a second horizontal part, which is exposed from the housing so as to be in parallel with the substrate surface at a position closer than the first horizontal part in a direction vertical to the long-side direction and the short-side direction of the housing, a first joining part, which joins between the first horizontal part and the second horizontal part while being partially held by the housing and whose prescribed range is exposed from the boundary with the second horizontal part, and a mounting part connected to lands. In a plurality of the terminals, each first joining part is arranged in the short-side direction while the first horizontal parts are multistaged arranged in the vertical direction. In first/second terminals wherein the first horizontal parts are arranged in different stages while the first joining parts are arranged in different stages, the first joining part of the first terminal having the first horizontal part far from the substrate surface is held between the first horizontal parts of the first/second terminals by the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
