<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent influence on surroundings even if over flow water should happen around a dehumidification means being the lowest part in a circulation air passage. <P>SOLUTION: In the drum type washing and drying machine, a rotation drum 2 which accommodates washing and is turnably driven is set in a water tub 3 to perform washing, rinsing, and dehydrating, and air in the water tub 3 is circulated by an air sending means, via a circulation air blast passage 5 provided with a heat exchanging part 39 housing a dehumidification means 31 and a heating means 32, to perform a drying process for the washing. The heat exchanging part 39 is positioned at the lower position of the circulation blast passage 5 and has a negative pressure region 71 driven by the air flow in the body 38 thereof. A drain hole 72 to drain overflow water over a predetermined volume at the worst is set on the periphery wall 38b of the body 44 facing the negative pressure region 71. By equipping a check valve 73 which is closed by suction from the negative pressure region 71 on the drain hole 72, the purpose is achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
