PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating window having a simple structure and excellent operation property and capable of reducing cost. SOLUTION: This ventilating window is constituted by attaching a sash 3 onto an outdoor side of an upper frame 1a of a window frame 1 through a hinge turnably, connecting an oscillating arm 12 linked to an operator handle 4 with an opening and closing arm 11 protruding upward from an upper end of the sash 3 through a link mechanism, and arranging a connection shaft 16 for connecting the opening and closing arm 11 with the link mechanism at a higher position than a position of a turn shaft 8 of the hinge to open and close the sash 3 by turning the operator handle 4.
