PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting a fallen state for not less than a prescribed time which is considered to be an accident instead of a temporary and instantaneous fall. SOLUTION: This detection device for a fallen or lying state of a person has a management controller, an alarm, a display device, and an input device. The input device is a device detecting a recognition code of the person and a motion stop/lying state by a sickness, the accident, or a disaster to the person, and is a device performing an alarm when not satisfying a prescribed value of a condition setting part inside the management controller.
