摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost by integration of a double speed converting circuit and an overdrive circuit by simultaneously performing a dark/light system double speed converting processing and overdrive processing in a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device includes: an image data storage part 181 for storing image data of one frame before prior to double speed conversion; a conversion table storage part 182 storing first and second look-up tables for generating high gray level data and low gray level data showing higher gray level than that of image data of a current frame, which are two-dimensional look-up tables where the gray levels of a predetermined number contrasted with the image data of the current frame before double speed conversion is related with the gray levels of a predetermined number contrasted with the image data of one frame before; and a double speed converting part 183 for generating high gray level data and low gray level data to the image data of the current frame with reference to the first and second look-up tables using the image data of one frame before and the image data of the current frame.
