PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of a vehicle body capable of sufficiently securing the stroke of a colliding object in the event of its committing a collision while the appearance of the fender inside is improved. SOLUTION: A hitching part 58 is provided in the lower part of a cover 54 of a fender protector 50, and has a cut 60 in a keyhole shape, through which a projection 36 on the side with an apron upper member 30 is inserted. The upper part of the hitching part 58 is embodied in a changeable structure 62, and when the load input to the fender protector 50 directed to under the vehicle body is at or over the prescribed value, deformation is made by the projection 36 in such a manner that the open side of the cut 60 is pushed wider. This allows the cover 54 to move to under the vehicle body, which releases the condition that the cover 54 is attached to the apron upper member 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
