PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a conventionally unused lower part of a rear panel as a new storage space. SOLUTION: This vehicle body structure is provided by arranging a garnish in an end part of a recessed part, by arranging the recessed part on a rear floor panel of a vehicle body. The garnish is formed by installing a storage cover 30 constituting a lower garnish on the rear panel 10 constituting an upper garnish. A box part 31 is arranged in a storage cover 30. The inside of the box part 31 is formed as a storage part opening in the recessed part of the rear floor panel. The rear panel 10 is provided with a boss 19 and a locking claw of projecting in the horizontal direction. The storage cover 30 is provided with a backward inclining part 39 having an elongate hole 40 capable of inserting the boss 19 of the rear panel 10 and a front wall part 37 abutting on the locking claw of the rear panel 10.
