PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device for an automotive board, having a good appearance on the back of the board. SOLUTION: The handle device for the automotive board comprises an upper body 1 and a lower body 21 to be fixed to each other while vertically holding, therebetween, a hole edge of a through-hole H opened in the board B, wherein the upper body 1 has a handle 12 pivoting between a non-use position along the upper body 1 and a use position standing from the upper body 1 and a tab extending downward from a bottom face of the handle 12 via an opening in the upper body 1, and is inserted into the through-hole H in the board B from its front side. The lower body 21 has a supporting wall 24 retractably supporting a locking piece 30, an operation window 26 formed in the supporting wall 21 and allowing the tab to face inside the supporting wall, and a spring biasing the locking piece 30 in its projecting direction, and is attached in such a manner as to cover the through-hole H from the back side of the board.
