PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently mount a gear component on a support table supported by a guide steel ball in contact with a tooth flank. SOLUTION: A hand 14 has three claws 58 for grasping a workpiece 16 which is a gear component. Each of the three claws 58 is slid radially outward to come into contact with a cylindrical surface 20 of the workpiece and grasps it. The claw 58 has a rotatably supported roller 74.
