PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely prevent adhesion of dust and a foreign matter to a glass substrate for a magnetic disk and change of a state of the surface of the glass substrate during transportation.

SOLUTION: A doubly packing body 222 of the glass substrate for the magnetic disk includes: a case 200 storing one or more glass substrates for the magnetic disk; a first packing bag 210 hermetically sealing the case 200 in a degassed state and made of an aluminum laminate film; and a second packing bag 220 hermetically sealing the first packing bag 210 from an outer side thereof in a degassed state and made of a plastic film.
