<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater boiling up the hot water or water in a hot water storage tank to an optional boiling-up target temperature even in a state where the hot water storage tank is not filled up with the hot water or water because of water stoppage in disasters such as earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water storage type water heater comprises: a boiling-up control portion 33 for boiling up the hot water or water in the hot water storage tank 2 to the boiling-up target temperature by a heating means 3; and an abnormality detecting means 34 determining the abnormality and stops the boiling-up when one or both of temperatures detected by a boiling-up temperature detecting means 13 detecting a temperature of warm water heated by a heating heat exchanger 4 received in the heating means 3 and a hot water storage temperature detecting means 26 disposed at an upper portion of the hot water storage tank 2 are low temperature for a prescribed time in boiling-up. A disaster mode is provided to set the abnormality detecting means 34 invalid to perform the boiling-up, and the optional boiling-up target temperature is set by manually operating a remote controller 5 for controlling an operation of the hot water storage type water heater, when the disaster mode is selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
