PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a spray-dried particle in which the spraying pressure can be stabilized when the spray-drying work is done. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the spray-dried particle comprises: a step (1) of obtaining slurry comprising 25-55 mass% water (C1) from a non-soapy anionic surfactant of 1-3 mass% of the total mass of the slurry (A1), soap of 3-8 mass% of the total mass of the slurry, and an inorganic builder mixture (B1) which comprises Na carbonate and Na sulfate of 1-5 mass ratio and is of≥20 mass% of the total mass of the slurry; a step (2) of crystallizing the slurry obtained at the step (1); a step (3) of mixing the crystallized slurry obtained at the step (2), the non-soapy anionic surfactant, the soap, the inorganic builder mixture comprising Na carbonate and Na sulfate, and water to prepare slurry which has the composition satisfying (A1), (B1) and (C1) and in which the content of the crystallized slurry is 6-60 mass% of the total mass of the slurry to be obtained; and a step (4) of spray-drying the slurry prepared at the step (3).
