<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for efficiently performing content information acquisition processing and content purchase processing which requires access to different servers. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing system is configured so that when a user browses information provided from an information providing server 110, for example, television program information and acquires a content related to the information, the user can transmit a content acquisition request containing content designation information to the content providing server or the like only by dragging and dropping the program information displayed on a display to a tool bar set in a display part or the other server information display area.
