<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle smoothly start when the vehicle reverses on a reversing uphill road being the uphill road against a reversing direction, and to lengthen time until a driving force for running decreases due to a reduction in the output restriction of an electric storage device. <P>SOLUTION: When the absolute value of a vehicle speed V is larger than a threshold Vref when a vehicle reverses on a reversing up-slope (S120), an engine and two motors are controlled so that the vehicle can run by request torque Tr* within the range of output restriction Wout* for control set to output smaller than output restriction Wout of a battery based on a road surface gradient θ (S130, S140, S160 to S220). Whereas, when the absolute value of the vehicle V is equal to or less than the threshold Vref when the vehicle reverses on the reversing uphill road (S120), the engine and two motors are controlled so that the vehicle can run by the request torque Tr* within the range of the output restriction Wout* for control set to the output restriction Wout of the battery (S150 to S220). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
