<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a communication device with one of two electric wires connected thereto cut. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device that has detected a communication error stores the generation time of the communication error and a communication error counter cumulative value indicating a cumulative value of a count value corresponding to the communication error, in a fault location detecting device for detecting a communication device connected to a disconnected communication line among a plurality of communication devices communicating with each other through a two-wire communication line. The communication device transited to a bus-off state based on an error counter cumulative value returns from the bus-off state after an elapse of a predetermined time, and has an acquiring means for acquiring the generation time of the communication error and communication error counter cumulative value stored in each communication device; and a fault communication device detecting means for detecting a communication device connected to a disconnected communication line based on a change of the communication error counter cumulative value during the bus-off state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
