PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture which can be used with an excellent appearance without exposing the disposing space of a connection part at the side part of the furniture even in the state of not connecting a second top plate in the furniture in which the second top plate can be connected to a first top plate using the connection part. SOLUTION: The furniture is provided with a leg body 2, the first top plate 6 supported at the upper part of the leg body 2 and the second top plate 14, and the second top plate 14 can be connected to the first top plate 6 via the connection part 15. In the furniture, the edge side part of the first top plate 6 is supported by the leg body 2, and by detaching at least a part in the lower part of the edge side part of the first top plate 6, the disposing space 19 for disposing the connection part 15 is formed at the edge side part, and the second top plate 14 is connected to the first top plate 6 via the connection part 15 disposed in the disposing space 19.
