摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting device which can facilitate not only injection of two charges to reduce power consumption due to lowering of voltage, but also to improve the drive voltage, light-emitting efficiency and durability. SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting device includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a light-emitting layer located between the first and second electrodes, a hole injection layer, located between the first electrode and the light-emitting layer, and an electron transport layer located between the light-emitting layer and the second electrode. The hole injection layer contains a first compound and a hole injection material, the first compound consisting of an element selected from a group of Mo, Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba and B, and an element selected from among a group of O, F, S, Cl, Se, Br and I. The electron transport layer contains an electron transport material and a second compound, the second compound which is lithium oxide (Li<SB>2</SB>O), a molybdenum oxide (MoO<SB>3</SB>), barium oxide (BaO) or boron oxide (B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>). The organic light-emitting device has superior electrical characteristics, and it uses new hole injection materials, suited for fluorescence and phosphorescent elements of all colors.
