PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning means that prevents toner leakage from between the circumference of a rotor such as an image carrier and a cleaning blade. SOLUTION: When the cleaning blade 25 and end seals 26 are not in contact with the circumference of the image carrier 2, a contact face 25a and sealing faces 26a corresponding at least to the portions at which the cleaning blade 25 and end seals 26 abut are inclined to form a predetermined angleαwhen viewed from a longitudinal direction of the cleaning blade 25.
