PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller capable of preventing reduction in propelling efficiency, by relieving a pressure drop in the rear of a boss of the propeller. SOLUTION: This propeller has the boss 12 fixed to a rear end part of a rotary shaft 11 and having a flat or roundish rear end surface 14, blades 13 arranged in a plurality at a predetermined interval in the peripheral direction in an outer peripheral part of the boss 12, and a flow passage having one end connected to the rear end surface 14 of the boss 12, having the other end connected to an outer peripheral surface 16 of the boss 12 and introducing fluid to the rear end surface 14 side from the outer peripheral surface 16 side of the boss 12.
