<p>This invention discloses a method and a device for transmitting data based on multi-diversity. The method comprises the following steps: A transmitter presets transmission modulation patterns at one or multiple diversity. Referring to the used constellation map or selecting suitable constellation map, the data bits to be transmitted are directly mapped or are mapped after being dynamically adjusted according to the preset modulation patterns, and the transmitted constellation symbols are made to fit the requirements of the preset modulation patterns. This invention is applicable to data transmission techniques in mobile communication.</p>
