The invention is applicable to the field of light industry, in particular to the production of mens underwear such as pants (drawers). The inventive underwear comprises front and rear parts joined by means of side seams, a gusset which is tailored so as to be three-dimensional and have three panels, therein the three-panel embodiment of the gusset is formed by joining the left, central and right wedges by longitudinal seams, the gusset is joined to the front part by longitudinal seams, has a rounded finish and, respectively, a rounded joining seam in the front part, the gusset has a wedge-like extension in the rear part, an acute-angled finish and, respectively an acute-angle joining seam, in the rear part in the sacral region. The gusset is joined to the rear part by longitudinal side seams and is made such as to be continuous along the length thereof: from the finishing area on the front part to the finishing area on the rear part. The side wedges of the gusset, right and left, in the rear part are shortened with respect to the central wedge. The gusset is designed taking into consideration the dimensional differentiation of the man's inguinal region and an additional size range for standardising the inguinal region parameters for industrial production purposes was introduced by the applicant.
