<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular caliper braking device capable of exhibiting an original braking force of brake block. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises an actuator 60 pushing a brake block 7 to a disk. Furthermore, this actuator 60 comprises a cylinder 80 formed in a caliper body 10, an elastic membrane 75 attached to this cylinder 80, an elastic membrane chamber 63 which is formed in partition between the cylinder 80 and this elastic membrane 75, and is given pneumatic pressure (fluid pressure) when braking, and a pressure piston 65 interposed between the elastic membrane 75 and the brake block 7. Additionally, this pressure piston 65 is slidably supported to the cylinder 80, and this pressure piston 65 pushes the brake block 7 to the disk in such a way that the elastic membrane 75 is expanded by the pneumatic pressure (the fluid pressure) led by the elastic membrane chamber 63 when braking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
