<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch digital broadcast for a fixed object and digital broadcast for a mobile object in accordance with display contents. <P>SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver for the mobile object, mounted on the mobile object for receiving terrestrial digital television broadcast comprises: an output decision means for deciding whether or not the output of the terrestrial digital television broadcast is selected; a display determining means for determining display contents of a display means in a case where the output of the terrestrial digital television broadcast is selected in the output decision means; and a switching means for performing switching between digital broadcast for a fixed receiver and digital broadcast for a mobile receiver on the basis of the display contents determined by the display determining means.
