摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment division type semi-transmissive IPS liquid crystal display device with high yield, high transmittance, high reflectance and high contrast. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a transmission part 101T and a reflection part 101R on each pixel 100, arranges a first alignment processing part 170 and a second alignment processing part 171 so as to provide a partial superposition region 172 on the reflection part 101R, and generates a region in which a liquid crystal alignment direction always continuously changes in a boundary between the transmission part 101T and the reflection part 101R.
