<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of favorably transferring ink from a rotary screen on a sheet-like matter held in an impression cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes a screen printing unit 20e having the impression cylinder 21e, a rubber cylinder 22e, the rotary screen 27 and a cover 22ee. The impression cylinder 21e is provided with a gripper 21e1 supported to be rotatable for holding a sheet of paper 1. The rubber cylinder 22e is supported to be rotatable for making contact with the impression cylinder 21e and provided with a notch 22eb in the position opposite the gripper 21e1 of the impression cylinder 21e. The rotary screen 27 transfers special inks and the like to the rubber cylinder 22e in contact therewith. The cover 22ee is installed in the notch 22eb of the rubber cylinder 22e for preventing both an interference from the gripper 21e1 of the impression cylinder 21e and a fall of the rotary screen 27 into the notch 22eb of the rubber cylinder 22e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
