PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize and reduce resistance of link lines arranged on a link area. SOLUTION: An array substrate for a liquid crystal display device is characterized in that it includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area, the non-display area having a link area and a pad area, array elements in the display area on the substrate, first to nth pads in the pad area, first to nth link lines in the link area and connecting the array elements to the pads, respectively, wherein the first to (n/2-1)th link lines have inclined portions, the width of the inclined portion of the pth link line is wider than the width of the inclined portion of the qth link line, the length of the inclined portion of the pth link line is longer than the length of the inclined portion of the qth link line, and p and q satisfy a relation (n/2-1)≥k≥q>p≥1. Thereby the link area is constructed with a wide width in order to reduce occurrence of resistance so as to retain a uniform resistance value in all areas of the substrate, even when the link lines in an outer end part of the link are lengthened.
