PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission control system constructing a light source device more compactly upon the construction of the light source device of a partial driving type, and to provide an image display system using the light source device. SOLUTION: A control data transmitted from a central control part 2 to each group (DG1, DG2) connected with the central control part in parallel is successively transferred from a former step to a later step between a plurality of BL module control parts 61 connected in a cascade manner in each group. Thus, the control data are transmitted to all of the BL module control parts belonging to all of the groups. As the result, a large number of LED blocks can be controlled by using a fewer lines.
