摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing adjustment device capable of improving the adjustability of an engine phase, quietness and durability and power saving properties. SOLUTION: The valve timing adjustment device comprises an urging member 430 for urging an intermediate rotating body 410 to a first position, a lock coil 440 for generating an electromagnetic drive force for driving the intermediate rotating body 410 to a second position, a first inclined surface 464 of an input rotating body 130 that is inclined toward a first wedge surface 462 of the intermediate rotating body 410, a first rolling element 466 that is displaced along the first inclined surface 464 during the movement of the intermediate rotating body 410 to the first position so as to be pressed against the first wedge surface 462, a second inclined surface 484 of the intermediate rotating body 410 that is inclined toward a second wedge surface 482 of an interlocking rotating body 10 of a crankshaft, and a second rolling element 486 that is displaced along the second inclined surface 484 during movement of the intermediate rotating body 410 to the first position so as to be pressed against the second wedge surface 482. An energization control circuit 200 causes the lock coil to stop the generation of the electromagnetic drive force by stopping the energization of the lock coil 440 when holding the engine phase.
