RETRACTION MECHANISM

A retraction mechanism has a striker provided to either a fixed body or a movable body movably supported by the fixed body, a catcher provided to the other and releasably engaging with the striker when the movable body is at a predetermined moved position, and urging means capable of accumulating urging force in the process of movement of the movable body. The retraction mechanism retracts the movable body by the urging force accumulated in the urging means with the striker and the catcher engaged with each other. The retraction mechanism further has guide means for restricting the relative positions between the striker and the catcher. Whenthe relative positions are changed, the guide means absorbs the change to allow the striker and the catcher to engage with each other.
