An epoxy-organized layered silicate nanocomposite for insulation is provided to ensure excellent viscoelasticity at a high temperature, low mechanical loss, thermal characteristic with high glass transition temperature, electrical characteristic with alternating current breakdown strength and excellent dielectric constant and mechanical property with excellent flexural strength. An epoxy-organized layered silicate nanocomposite for insulation comprises the steps of: (i) preheating an epoxy resin; (ii) heating organized layered silicate to remove moisture, adding the organized layered silicate to the epoxy resin, and performing mixing and defoaming processes by using a planetary centrifugal mixer; (iii) mixing a hardener mixed with a curing accelerator with a mixture of 2 kinds of epoxy resin and the organized layered silicate, and performing mixing and defoaming processes; (iv) injecting a mixture of 3 kinds of the epoxy resin, the organized layered silicate, and the hardener in the preheated mold and defoaming; and (v) performing primary hardening in the oven of high temperature and then secondary hardening. |
