<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and reliable therapeutic method of cancer, to provide a proliferation inhibitor of cancer cells effective for the therapy, and to provide a screening method of a material having proliferation-inhibiting activity of the cancer cells. <P>SOLUTION: The method for inhibiting the proliferation of the cancer cells includes inhibiting the function of ZNF143. The cancer cell proliferation inhibitor contains a material inhibiting the function of ZNF143 such as siRNA specific to ZNF143 as an active ingredient. The therapeutic agent of the cancer, the method for detecting the cancer cells, the agent for diagnosing the cancer, the vector and the transformed cell to which the vector is introduced, and the screening method of the material having the activity for inhibiting the proliferation of the cancer cells with the use of the amount of ZNF143 protein-binding inhibition as a standard, are also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
