LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND COLOR FILTER FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which an electric property of a colored layer of a color filter does not have adverse influence on switching performance of a liquid crystal and which has a color filter excellent in color reproducibility.

SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device equipped with a backlight having a light emitting diode and a color filter having two or more colors of colored layers including a green colored layer, the green colored layer of the color filter contains C. I. pigment green 58 and dielectric loss tangent of the green colored layer at driving frequency of the liquid crystal display device is 0.01 or less.
